Due to my recent illness ive done pretty much no gaming not a gd time to become ill shortly after the wii comes out, hopefully I will be well tomoz/friday so I can get a good 30hours with my wii on twilight princess + Red Steel before the end of the week.

2nd wiimote came today but bro wanted to play World of Warcraft instead of playing red steel multiplayer , so ill test it out tomoz with jalada if we get time (making my family pc).

Though I havn't gamed much on my wii I have been using it to watch my movies on, converted a couple of hours of anime at a time and put it on my SD card to watch while im in bed. (When I say converted, this is because the wii only plays one type of video format which is lame, so I use Wii Video 9 to convert my avi files into MJPEG.

Though this article is about Christmas tree lights effecting the wii I heard a while back that bright light generally effects the wii sensor bar, ive had no problems so far - click here to read the article.

Everyone round here is ill including me , well got past the 3rd temple on twilight princess, man I hate water temples on any game (bad experience with ocarina of time's water temple lol).

Love the story so much, I wont spoil it, but WoW lol.

Some conversation sparked in my IT class today about the Wii, still people are making jokes about the name which is really annoying me a heck of a lot, but in the end they asked me to bring it in sounds like a gd lesson of ICT for me is coming after our exam is over in January.

Played a lot of Zelda so far, almost at 2nd temple and enjoying the game VERY much, have to say that it's, so far better than ocarina of time, music is nice, graphics are very nice and the gameplay is even better, love using the Boomerang and using the attack moves as wolf and human forms.

Story is coming along nicely, had a small problem with my wiimote earlier but its all working again now, had to take power cable out of the wii and put it back in for some reason.

Been sending lots of wiimails to people, very cool use of the internet for the wii.
Also got myself a new mii from the mii parade, "Nick", has made few appearances here and there on baseball and on bowling but havn't seen him a great deal.

new VC games out tomoz, ill post up what they are and what current ones are out as well.

Not really any news but ill give my view on the wii as a whole

The wiimote
The speaker isn't half bad, to what people have been saying about its crackle
Ease of controls - VERY easy to use, and fits nicely in your hand
As ive said before, no trouble holding it, never been close to it slipping out my hand yet alone the strap snapping.

Wii connect 24 - Updates do take enough time for you to go do something while the wii updates, there not quick, easy to connect the wii to the internet to use the wii shopping channel.

Tested out the photo channel, watched episode of bleach, though I don't like the quality of the picture once wii video 9 has converted the avi file, but still was gd enough. Worked really well also tested it out on the slide show which played my mp3 files worked nicely again. (Cnt use your SD card until you have the first update)

Mii Channel - A superb wii channel, love creating little miis and seeing/using them on wii sports - got some nice music on there specially on the mii parade.

Downloaded three VC games so far - Sonic, Legend of zelda and wario woods.
Sonic as well all know totally pwns, though it froze on 6th lv hasn't happened since then.
Havn't played much zelda but its pretty cool game, but no way near as gd as twilight princess which ive played about 4hours of and loving it so much.
Wario woods, looked cool but didn't know if or not to get it, but im glad I did, very cool puzzle solving game sorta like tetris just better I think. Glad I have got all these, and cnt wait for more VC games to come out on monday.

Been sending few messages to people not wii to wii but wii to email, pretty cool indeed. People have been coming onto my webcam stream to watch which your all welcome to come watch.

Wii came today, as you could have guessed with late blog :s sorry bout that, got to into Red Steel.

Ill give bit of news then ill review wii sports of my experience so far.

Wii Sports review so far

Music - Love the music when there actually is some music playing, I would have to give it a 7

Tennis - After an hour of playing this my hand has become a bit sweaty, a simple rub down is all which is needed, great controls but the AI is pretty easy, never the less its a great fun game and ill be playing it for weeks/months to come.

Bowling - Another brilliant game, controls once again are very well done, and a great laugh with more people, though since I only have one wiimote the taking of and putting on of the wrist strap adds enough time for my to pick up another one tomoz/Sunday.

Golf - Me my brother and sister had a few games of this and were enjoying our selves a lot, though I wouldn't say the controls were as good as Bowling and Tennis I can say a little more improving and it would be there, though thats just proberly me being new to it.

Boxing - Controls are a mess I would have to say, have a great game of it and the victor music pwns but I would like to see the controls improved, not the worse but not the greatest like bowling and tennis.

Baseball - havn't played this yet but I shall be giving a little talk on it tomoz

Training - Good training mode on there, runs you through everything for each game and its all clear.

Overall I would have to say it's a great free game to come with the wii, if it didn't like it didn't with japan I would spend £40 on it for sure because I can see myself playing this for years to come. 7 out of 10 I would have to give this game.

Having the use of Mii's is also another fun factor with this game also.

Id also like to say that the controls are not hard to use and all the reports ive seen and you have proberly also seen on tv's being hit ext I havn't a clue what their doing in order for those events to happen but even with slightly sweaty hands after playing wii sports for a few hours the wiimote has not once left the grip of my hand.

Yes the days of counting down until the Nintendo Wii will be over tomoz , my gameplay order says dispatched so looking forward to its arrival.

Some interesting news today, first, as you may all know that you can use your wiimote instead of a keyboard on your pc, well heres a video of someone play halo2 with it and also explains how to set it all up. Ill be giving that a try sometime before Christmas . - Click here

Almost completed master quest, ill get that done along with minish cap tomoz before I start playing Twilight Princess. Expect lots of UK wii information to be posted up tomoz for all those which were unable to get one for launch but ill keep you posted on what I do and my opinions.

Didn't get my review done but ill post it up tomoz morning sometime before my wii comes or before I start to play it. Lots of news will be posted in my morning blog tomoz but ill also be doing my daily blog about the same time like normal.
